The BID is run by a Board of Directors comprised of, and voted in by Adams Morgan landlords and business owners. The daily operations are managed by an executive director who reports to the board.

BIDs give us all a voice because BIDs have clout - and clout brings about action and results. When a BID talks, government listens! Local goverments are very supportive of BIDs and as a result, they pay more attention and give more weight to the requests of a BID.

New commercial districts throughout the city are being developed and existing zones are being improved.
